We had an amazing donation recently from the Southern Association of Odd Fellows and Rebekah’s. Their project was to “Cover the Southeast with Compassion,” and they made and collected blankets to donate to our partner hospitals through BOWS & BALLCAPS. We are so honored they chose to use our group to get such a wonderful donation to so many kids. We delivered the blankets to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt last week, and this is the sweet note we got from them the clinic this week: “We just wanted to thank you again for the blankets. They have been such a gift to our patients in the clinic. They have provided many smiles this week as the cold weather is so daunting.” We love messages like this, and we love finding ways to continue to help these kids and their families. Thank you again to Brenda L. Reed, Tammy Barton and the rest of the local chapters of the Rebekah’s and Odd Fellows for continuing to support us!!
