A SURPRISE CARE PACKAGE FOR ME!!

I was so astonished whenever I got home from school the other night and received a HUGE box of items donated to BOWS & BALLCAPS. I would really like to thank the 5th grade class at Smithville Elementary in Mississippi for this amazing donation. It was filled with all kinds of items for our care packages... hats, bows, headbands, journals, chapstick, gum, games, stuffed animals, and the list goes on and on. I love all of the items that were donated. They will be quite useful in our care packages, and I am over-the-top thankful for these blessed children that have taken the time to purchase these items for the charity. I know everyone that will receive a care package will be sure to love it!! Thank you again to these awesome kids!!

I have heard so much about you, and I was so excited when I found out that I was going to meet you in person today. I think that it is so cool to meet someone else that has alopecia as well. Eliana is a 6-year-old little girl that found out 3 weeks ago she had alopecia areata. It just so happens that this sweet and fun little girl will ( just like me) not let having alopecia stop her from having fun and living life like all little kids should. She still has some of her hair, but it is going fast. We brought her a carepackage today whenever we saw her, I have never seen anyone open a carepackage, but today was really special, because I was able to see it for the first time. I could tell that she was so excited, and I can't wait to see her again. She also has a little sister like me, and they really reminded me of me and my sister. I hope I am able to see you again. Thank you Eliana for an amazing experience.
