One of the perks of being bald??  An even larger canvas for face painting:)  Thanks to the sweet people at the Indian Lake Easter Egg Hunt today for all of my fun artwork... especially the bunny on the top of my head.  Happy Easter everyone!

I was so excited to see that I was featured in a special section of the HENDERSONVILLE STAR NEWS this week called "Sumner Stars."  This was a great surprise and honor for me and BOWS & BALLCAPS. Then, I was thinking that none of this would ever have happened if God had not put us in this situation, and I feel like everyone else should be getting credit for this. I really hope that everyone who sees this knows that we're all different, and even if you haven't lost your hair, you're still different and special in your own way!!!!!

Over the past couple of weeks, we have received so many awesome and thoughtful surprise donations!  We recently received a box of ribbons and accents to use to make our special bows from a woman named Elaine Schmidt who wrote a book called The Complete Photo Guide to Ribbon Crafts.  She sent us all of her leftover materials, and there are so many great items to use on our bows... and she even sent me a copy of her book so maybe I can come up with some new ideas to send to the kids.  We also received a HUGE box of 300 hats from Weatherproof Apparel... great fun patterns like flowers, camouflage and some solid styles, too.  These are a little bigger, so they will be great for the teenagers.  They are all awesome, and I am just so excited about the emails, donations and requests for care packages that we are receiving each week.  Please keep spreading the word about BOWS & BALLCAPS.  Thanks so much!!  -&-Hannah-&-
