It's a busy BOWS & BALLCAPS Sunday afternoon.  We are packing shipments of bows and ballcaps for two of our partner hospitals... Vanderbilt Children's and East Tennessee Childrens.  And we are also organizing all of the great donations we received during our visit to Cedar Creek Church a couple of weeks ago.  It's been an AMAZING week celebrating our 2nd birthday!!  Thank you so much to all of our wonderful friends and family who help make this all possible.  Also thank you so much for all of our wonderful birthday donations.  It's going to be a great fall!  Thanks Again!!!!!!!

I'm so excited because tomorrow is OUR BIRTHDAY!!  BOWS & BALLCAPS turns 2 tomorrow.  I can't believe all that we've done in 2 years.  We've given out 3,000 bows and ballcaps to kids who have lost their hair... either from cancer treatments or alopecia.  We've, grown to 4 (and hopefully soon to be 5) partner hospitals.  We've sent care packages to kids all around the country.  I've been invited to speak to kids and adults at many schools, churches and community groups.  We've been SUPER fortunate to have some great media coverage on B&B.  We've had two awesome holiday breakfasts to collect toys for kids.  And most importantly, I've been able to meet so many awesome kids and families in this two-year journey.  I can't wait to see what this year brings.  And even though my Cotillion teacher would say this isn't proper, I'm going to ask for something.  I'm asking for a birthday gift from each of you to help keep all of this going.  Your donations help us grow to reach more kids and more hospitals.  We can buy more bows, ballcaps and care package items to help more kids.  All of the information on how to donate is on our website at www.bowsandballcaps.org.  My birthday wish is to keep helping other kids' wishes come true!!  Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support.  You all mean so much to me!!  And Happy Birthday to B&B!!

I am so excited!!! Today, I was elected to be part of our school's Student Council. I am now the school historian. YAY!!!!!!!! Wish me luck for the rest of the year. And yes, that's my sweet sister giving me a huge congratulations hug! Thanks!!

I am so utterly impressed and astonished.  I was so happy to be invited to speak at Cedar Creek Yacht Club's Church by the Lake this morning.  It was youth Sunday, and I was so honored to be part of the service.  The entire congregation brought donations for BOWS & BALLCAPS.  We left with a car load of wonderful items for care packages as well as some amazing financial donations to help us fund more projects.  I can't express how wonderful this day was!!!  I have to say a HUGE thank you to the Pittman and Halcomb family for making this day happen and for hosting us for the service and lunch.  And I am so happy to have made new friends in Kate and Caroline.  Thanks so much to everyone who came this morning and who donated during the service.  I would also like to thank Mr. Eirinn Abu' who played the most amazing piece on the saxophone that I have ever heard in my life.  I am, truly grateful for such a wonderful day!!  We hope to see you next Sunday.
