Today, we received our latest delivery of bows from Mrs. Sue. They are absolutely amazing!!!! We are planning a visit to Vanderbilt next week to take these bows, so we had asked her to make some special, bows to help the kids there celebrate Christmas. I can't believe how awesome these bows are. Mrs. Sue, you rock!!! I had help tagging my bows tonight from my Paw who is visiting from East TN for Thanksgiving. He was a great help! I can't wait for our second visit to Vanderbilt next week, and I hope the kids LOVE these extra special Christmas bows. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Love, Hannah

I want to give a special thank you to the two ladies working in the garden center at Home Depot in Hendersonville this morning. They were very kind to me while my mom was shopping for plants to decorate for Christmas. My ears were cold, and they gave me this very special hat!! I would just like to remind everyone to be thankful this week and to show kindness to others whenever you get the chance! Many people have been nice to me and especially today it really touched my heart. Once again, I'd like to give a special shout out to those very kind ladies, and I encourage you to do the same. Love, Hannah On the way to school yesterday morning, we stopped at my favorite donut shop for breakfast. As we were sitting down, an old man at the table next to us said to me, "Going for the Mr. Clean look today?" I had no idea what he was talking about, so we looked it up on the computer once we got home. So yes, we are both bald. But I don't have puffy white eyebrows, and I don't wear one hoop earring in my left ear. Maybe there's a slight resemblance, but I don't really understand why someone (especially an adult) would say that to me. So I asked my mom, "Do you think he meant to be mean?" And she said... "I just think he wasn't really thinking." So my message for the day: Think before you speak. Be kind to others. And do a random act of kindness for someone today!!! Love, Hannah Yesterday, I had a swim meet. This is my second year on the swim team, and I love it!! This year (and maybe forever), I've decided to not wear my swim cap at swim meets. I was hoping to use this as a way to raise awareness for Bows & Ballcaps. Since I've left my swim cap in the stands, I have had several people ask me why I don't have hair. This gives me a great opportunity to talk about Alopecia and Bows & Ballcaps. I already can't wait until my next swim meet! Don't worry... I'll keep you posted!!!!!!!! And congratulations to the other swimmers on my team for an awesome meet this weekend! Thanks for being such amazing friends. Love, Hannah |
