Today was such an awesome day for BOWS & BALLCAPS!! I was waiting to post about it because I just couldn't believe it was really going to happen. But today, it happened!!! NBC Nightly News came to Hendersonville, TN to do a story on me and my charity. Ms. Kim and Mr. Michael were awesome!! They spent the morning at my house interviewing me, my family and my friends. Then, they went with me to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital where we dropped off our latest delivery of bows and ballcaps. I got to visit with Mrs. Stephanie and also meet one of the Child Life Specialists, Katie, who actually gives out the bows and ballcaps to the kids. It was a really, really, really awesome day!! The story will run on the NBC Nightly News Weekend Edition with Lester Holt, and might even run this coming weekend. I will let you know the exact date soon. Please watch!!
