This week's word is SNOW!!!!! It almost seems 100% right to use this as the word of the week. We have gotten a total of 9 inches in middle Tennessee. I am so excited, we've never ever gotten this much snow! I think that almost everyone is out tomorrow, so just use that time to roll around, build, tear down, and rebuild the snow. It is so much fun! I know firsthand, just how much fun playing in... the snow can be, because some of my neighborhood friends and I built a snow fort/tunnel. It took hours, but it was so much fun. This week, or maybe just tomorrow, take advantage of all the snow, you get to play in, because if your in middle Tennessee, you probably won't see anything like this ever again in at least 28 more years. So enjoy it!!!!

East Tennessee Children's Hospital made a special request for orange and white bows for the UT basketball players to pass out to patients. Aren't they going to be excited!?!?! I can't wait for them to open the package. This is one thing we did with our snow day today... tagged and packed bows!!
Who would have ever thought that a generous 9-year-old girl would choose to donate to kids with cancer instead of receive presents for herself? What is more selfless than that? I was so excited when I heard the news. For Mackenzie's 9th birthday, she asked for her friends to bring donations for BOWS & BALLCAPS to her party instead of gifts. And last night, my sister and I were invited to come to the party and tell them a little about our charity. Oh, and play a little too! I really appreciate all that they gave to us, and can't wait to send some of those cute stuffed animals out to kids that need them. Thank you so much Mackenzie for choosing to go selfless. Words can't express how thankful we are. And happy birthday!! Thanks again!!!
