My dad just got home from a 7-day bike ride across Iowa... I'm so happy he's home:) I was so excited to hear that while he was on his bike ride, he met two girls that are very good friends and that both have Alopecia. We so rarely meet people with Alopecia, so it's extra special that he ran into two people at the same time on his trip. We'll be sending them a care package from Bows and Ballcaps filled with many things that I hope that they will love and enjoy. So cool that we have two new friends!

Today, I was invited to speak at a VBS church camp at Hope Church Franklin. Their Children's Minister, Ms. Amy, saw the video about B&B on NBC Nightly News, and she asked me to come talk today for their lesson on "Loving People More Than Things." Ms. Amy said that I was there to inspire these kids, but they actually inspired me. I love getting the opportunity to talk to other kids all around Tennessee and encourage them to make a difference in their world. The kids at the camp also made awesome scarves that they are donating to the charity!!! I'm so excited and can't wait to go speak again somewhere else. Getting to talk to these kids today was one of the most inspiring times of my life, and I had so much fun!!!! Thank you to everyone that was at VBS for letting me share my store with you. It was great meeting all of you. Thanks again!!!!
-&-HannaH-&- What an awesome day!!! The Hendersonville Rotary Club invited me to come to its breakfast this morning, and the past president, Mrs. Bethel Ellis, made a special donation to Bows & Ballcaps to help us continue our work. I was so surprised and excited!! More bows and ballcaps are on the way...yeah!!! And as an amazingly special treat, the guest speaker today just happened to be the GOVERNOR OF TENNESSEE. We got to meet Governor Haslem and even have our picture made with him. And he made a special callout to my sister and me during his speech (something about me running for governor). I'll share the link that was picked up by the Tennessean. So thankful and thrilled for all of these opportunities. Lots of love and thanks to all of you who keep sending your love, support and donations. Love, Hannah
Today was one of the best days for BOWS & BALLCAPS. I was named "Citizen of the Year" by the Hendersonville Star News, and I was invited to the Chamber of Commerce lunch at Bluegrass Country Club. The editor of the newspaper, Ms. Cherish Mathews, awarded me this awesome plaque for my BOWS & BALLCAPS work. It was so exciting (and sort of nerve racking). I can't believe that I received this awesome privilege. I feel so blessed to have this huge opportunity, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Thank you Hendersonville Star News and all of the wonderful people who have given me so much love and support.
