SEPTEMBER IS: Alopecia Awareness Month AND Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month!! We are so excited to promote awareness about these illnesses and educate those who don't understand the full extent to which these illness affect others. Alopecia has always affected me physically but the real question is "How would I let it affect me emotionally?". The Answer? I didn't. Psalm 139:13-14 says "You knit me together in my mother's womb, and I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Whether you are struggling with an auto immune disease or other sickness, or not, just remember that God created you exactly the way you are supposed to be and He loves you!! Alopecia Areata affects about 2% of the population which is about 6.5 million people in the US. I rarely meet others with Alopecia, but I WOULD LOVE TO!!
