 Breakfast with Santa 2018 is ready for you!!! A very few seats are available for the 11am seating tomorrow. We would love for you to join us!! We have crafts, a yummy pancake breakfast, special guests like Princesses Belle, Aurora and the Grinch. And of course...pictures with Santa!! New this year....we have a silent auction with restaurant gift cards, gifts and more.

The banner is up. BREAKFAST WITH SANTA is almost here!! www.bowsandballcaps.org for tickets and more information!!  Today is GIVING TUESDAY. How will you give today? A $5 donation delivers a bow or a ballcap to a child fighting cancer at one of our partner hospitals. A $25 donation delivers a care package filled with pick-me-ups directly to a child fighting cancer. Help us keep sending love and support to kids around the country. Donate here or at www.bowsandballcaps.org. #givingtuesday  This is what it looks like to deliver 1,200+ toys to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt!! It took the entire Volunteer Services team and even a few guys from the construction crew to help us get them all unloaded. Thank goodness for a loading dock! So thankful for everyone who donated at FILL THE FIRETRUCK on Saturday!

FILL THE FIRETRUCK is underway at Walmart Hendersonville - N Anderson Lane. We’ll be here until 4pm collecting toys for kids that wake up on Christmas morning at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Stop by and say hello!! And donate a toy! I was so excited to have the opportunity to speak to the 5th and 6th grade classes of National League of Junior Cotillions Greater Sumner Chapter today at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club. My sister and I both spent many years in cotillion, and it was fun to go back today and see all the younger kids in the program. Thank you Mrs. Tammie Southerland for inviting us to be a part of Cotillion once again. The kids have been collecting toys for our toy drive that we do at our Breakfast with Santa event. And we asked them to focus on toys for teens/tweens...the hardest age group to buy for according to the hospital. Thank you to all of the families for the wonderful donations!! It’s a great kick-off to our upcoming toy drive events.  THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY... we'll be opening the doors for Breakfast with Santa. We literally have 25 seats left at the 8:30am seating but more available at the 11am seating. If you plan to come, please order your tickets now so you're not disappointed!! It's such a wonderful way to kick-off the Christmas season. And this event helps us fund all we do during the coming year. Please join us!!
What an amazing day for BOWS & BALLCAPS!! I was recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Nashville as their Rising Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year. It was such an honor to be recognized for all of the work that we do with B&B. And it was an even greater honor to get to meet so many other people, companies and charities that do such amazing things for our community. It was a highlight getting to meet past winners country music singer Tracy Lawrence and Emma Hall who started Be Happy Haiti as a teen. I was so excited to get to share a little bit of my story with all of them. Thank you to the AFP for this amazing award!!
