So happy to see this post from our friends at Niswonger Children's Hospital. We’re working on more headbands for them this week to keep the health care workers safe!

Sara decided she was ready for a haircut...like the rest of us!! This is the 4th time she’s grown her hair to donate to LocksofLove in honor of her sister and the many other girls and women out there struggling with hair loss. So proud of her decades long commitment to this cause. It’s her unique way of giving back, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
We’re all trying to do our part during this difficult time. We’ve been in constant communication with our partner hospitals, but, sadly, they can’t accept donations or put out our bows and BALLCAPS during this time due to concerns of virus spread. But one of our hospitals had a special requests. The ears of the health care workers are getting sore and blistered from the constant wearing of masks. So they asked if we could sew buttons on some headbands for them to use. Brilliant! So we went through all of our headbands, and we’ve been sewing on buttons. Our first shipment went out today. We’re happy to do anything we can to help.
Hey y’all!! I hope everyone is doing well during this super uncertain time. I hope you’ve all been quarantining and trying to stay busy! We’ve been staying busy and finally were able to ship out 2 of our care packages today!! We got to fill one for a little girl and another for a little boy and his sister. It’s such a blessing for us to be able to finally give out donations again!! We hope these care packages will bring as much joy to the kids as they brought to us while we packed them. If you’re trying to stay busy and looking for things to do, look for opportunities to help others!! It’s so rewarding. I hope y’all are all staying safe and focusing on family bonding during this time!! AND if you or anyone you know is in need of a care package, let us know and we’d love to help!!
Love -&-HannaH-&- Hey y'all and Happy Saturday! I know these past couple weeks have been stressful, full of uncertainty, and maybe even fearful, so here's some sunshine and smiles that I hope will make feel a sense of normalcy. We received a generous donation of bows and other accessories that will work perfectly for our partner hospital to distribute to our little girls who have lost their hair. During this time, it's so important to take care of yourself and stay safely away from others in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. While you are thinking about keeping yourself and your families safe, please also keep in mind the children we support and show love to. Many of them have already compromised immune systems and they are in hospitals which puts them at risk of being exposed to this virus. Above all, remember to stay positive and be a light to everyone around you. Remember the importance of family and check up on those you care about that you can't see. I hope y'all have a wonderful rest of your day and during this time focus on your health and safety!
Love, -&-HannaH-&- Every year, our amazing Hendersonville Fire Department and Police Department help us with our FILL THE FIRETRUCK toy drive at Walmart. And we so appreciate all of their support. So today, we made deliveries of stuffed animals to both. Both departments keep stuffed animals with them to give to kids they encounter...especially in moments of crisis or chaos to help calm or cheer them. We love our first responders and appreciate all they do for us every day!!
This is always one of our favorite days of the year!! Thank you so much to all of the volunteers, all of the people that donated, our amazing first responders of Hendersonville Fire Department and Hendersonville Police Department, and our local Walmart. We couldn't do this without all of you. We collected more than 1,000 toys for kids that will wake up in the hospital on Christmas morning at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We are so THANKFUL!!
It's GIVING TUESDAY! How will you give today? We would love to have your continued support! But most importantly, we encourage you to give to an organization that you feel strongly about. Every little bit makes a difference.
