A little while ago, I spoke to the Boys and Girls Club at Whitten Elementary School. A few weeks later, I received a box of items from Whitten. We found a card inside of the box stating that they had split up into teams, boys against girls, and they had a contest to see who could collect the most items for the charity. The note said the girls won, but whenever I looked into both of the boxes, they both looked pretty full!. Both teams did awesome!! I am truly thankful for anything we receive for Bows & Ballcaps. But when giving to cancer kids or to kids with Alopecia just remember that anything helps no matter what it is. It can range anywhere from stuffed animals to gum and candy, or even books or socks or hats. When I say anything counts, I truly mean it!!! And remember that the true value is not in you or me, but in the kids you are helping. Thank you all for your love and support!! And especially thank you to the awesome kids at Whitten! Sincerely, -&-HannaH-&- |
